The Coffee and The Flowers of Medellín

A magnificent day to experience two of the most emblematic “fincas” of Medellín: the coffee process tour and the colorful flower farm. We will begin the day by visiting a traditional coffee finca, where the locals will explain all the stages of coffee production, from seeding to harvesting. You'll enter the coffee fields to see firsthand how the coffee pickers select the best red beans. The tour continues with a demonstration of the drying and roasting processes used to produce the finest quality coffee. Of course, the experience ends with a tasting of the world’s best smooth coffee, brewed using the finest methods. After a delightful immersion into coffee culture, we'll enjoy a taste of local gastronomy provided by our gracious hosts before continuing on to the flower farm. At the flower farm, the farmers will demonstrate how they create the famous “silletas,” which are the heart of Medellín's iconic Feria de las Flores, one of Colombia’s most celebrated festivals.
